Warranty Terms

These Warranty Terms apply to saunas supplied by [FULL LEGAL NAME], registered under company number [COMPANY NUMBER], with its registered office at [REGISTERED OFFICE] ("Leili Lab", "we", "us", "our").

1. Warranty Periods

  1. 1. These Warranty Terms are Leili Lab's voluntary commercial warranty. They apply in addition to, and do not replace, limit or reduce, legal rights against us, the manufacturer or another person.
  2. 2. Subject to these Terms, we provide: (a) a five-year Structural Warranty for structural elements in the scope described in section 2; (b) a two-year General Warranty for Leili Lab-made/supplied non-structural components in the scope described in section 3, excluding Third-Party Equipment; and (c) a two-year Installation Warranty for work by us or a Leili Lab Contractor.
  3. 3. Structural and General Warranty begin on Handover. If Customer-caused delay prevents Handover after physical delivery, they begin on physical delivery. Installation Warranty begins when installation is completed and recorded. Repair/replacement does not restart a commercial period unless law requires otherwise.
  4. 4. Order documents identify warrantor, contacts, Product, period, territorial scope, claim process and any manufacturer warranty.

2. 5-year Structural Warranty

The Structural Warranty covers defects in materials or manufacture that cause failure or material loss of integrity of the sauna's structural frame or fixed structural wall, floor or ceiling assemblies under normal intended use.

The Structural Warranty does not mean that timber will remain visually or dimensionally unchanged for five years. Natural characteristics and normal changes in timber are addressed in Section 5 below.

3. 2-year General Warranty

The General Warranty covers defects in materials or manufacture affecting Leili Lab-manufactured or Leili Lab-supplied components during normal intended use.

This may include, where applicable, timber components, doors, glass, benches, fittings and other sauna components.

The Warranty covers defects, not damage resulting from external causes, improper use or normal ageing of the product.

4. 2-year Installation Warranty

Where installation was performed or arranged by Leili Lab, Leili Lab warrants that the installation work will be carried out with appropriate workmanship.

This includes defects directly caused by the assembly, fitting, alignment, fastening, sealing or other installation work for which Leili Lab was responsible.

The Installation Warranty does not cover problems caused by the Site, foundation, utilities or other works for which Leili Lab was not responsible.

5. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

This commercial warranty does not cover a condition to the extent it results from normal wear, natural timber movement or appearance change, weather exposure outside stated intended use, accidental/physical damage, misuse, failure to follow supplied care/safety instructions, unsuitable cleaning products, unauthorised alteration/repair, incorrect self-installation, unsuitable Site conditions/foundations/utilities outside our scope, or Customer Contractor work. An exclusion does not apply where we or a Leili Lab Contractor caused or contributed to the condition, and it does not limit statutory rights.

6. Third-party Equipment

  1. 1. "Third-Party Equipment" means equipment made by another company, including a heater, controller or accessory identified in the Quotation, Order Confirmation or delivery documents.
  2. 2. Third-Party Equipment is not covered by the Structural, General or Installation Warranty unless the Quotation expressly says it is. A manufacturer warranty is only on its own terms. We will provide available manufacturer warranty information and reasonably assist a claim where agreed.
  3. 3. This does not limit a statutory right against us as seller/supplier, including lack of conformity or defective installation.

7. Self-assembly and Third-party Installation

  1. 1. If the Quotation states that the Customer or Customer Contractor installs the Product, Structural and General Warranty remain available for eligible supplied components.
  2. 2. Installation Warranty does not apply to work not done by us or a Leili Lab Contractor. A condition caused by incorrect assembly, installation, alteration or connection by the Customer/Customer Contractor is excluded only to the extent it caused the condition.

8. Making a Warranty Claim

  1. 1. To make a commercial-warranty claim, the Customer should contact info@leililab.com promptly after awareness and provide Order number, description, photographs/other reasonable supporting information and reasonable inspection access if needed.
  2. 2. We may inspect or request information reasonably necessary. We will state in advance if inspection may involve a charge. If covered, we refund a reasonable pre-agreed inspection charge.
  3. 3. Failure to follow this process does not remove statutory rights or the commercial warranty unless it materially prevents assessment and law permits that result.

9. What Leili Lab Will Do

  1. 1. For an accepted commercial-warranty claim, we may repair, replace or provide another appropriate commercial-warranty remedy within reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, subject to law.
  2. 2. It includes reasonable parts, work and ordinary transport for the covered item and removal/reinstallation reasonably necessary and within our agreed installation scope.
  3. 3. This describes only the commercial remedy. It does not limit a statutory right to removal, reinstallation, price reduction, reimbursement, damages or another remedy.

10. Territorial Scope and Statutory Rights

The Customer has legal rights that this commercial warranty does not affect. Their duration and the person against whom they may be exercised vary by territory. The applicable territorial notice provides additional information and does not restrict a right that applies by law.

11. Territorial Consumer Notices

Netherlands

If Dutch law applies, the Customer is entitled to a Product conforming to the contract and reasonable expectations. This legal right is not limited to a fixed period. A report within two months after discovery of lack of conformity is timely. This commercial warranty does not affect those rights.

Belgium

If Belgian law applies, the Customer has statutory rights against the seller for lack of conformity, including the legal conformity guarantee and other mandatory remedy. This commercial warranty does not affect those rights, including repair, replacement, removal or reinstallation where applicable.

For a Belgian consumer Order, nothing in the commercial warranty limits a statutory remedy for lack of conformity, including removal of non-conforming goods and installation of replacement or repaired goods where Belgian law requires it.

Luxembourg

If Luxembourg law applies, the Customer has statutory rights against the seller for lack of conformity and other mandatory remedies. This commercial warranty does not affect them. The commercial warranty will be provided on durable medium in French or German, as chosen by the Customer, no later than delivery.

For a Luxembourg consumer Order, we will provide these commercial Warranty Terms on a durable medium in French or German, as selected by the Customer, no later than delivery. The selected language version forms part of the Order.

12. United States Limited Warranty

UNITED STATES LIMITED WARRANTY

This is a limited warranty. Leili Lab, [FULL LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED OFFICE], is the warrantor. Subject to these Warranty Terms, Leili Lab provides the Structural Warranty, General Warranty and Installation Warranty described in section 1 for the stated periods/Product. This warranty applies in [TERRITORIAL SCOPE] and may be claimed at [WARRANTY EMAIL].

Any implied warranties that cannot lawfully be disclaimed are limited in duration to the applicable written warranty, to the extent state law permits. This limitation does not apply where state law does not permit it. Leili Lab does not require the Customer to buy a branded item/service to obtain coverage, except where supplied without charge or law permits the condition.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

This limited warranty is available for the Customer to read before sale and does not limit federal/state rights.
